Congratulation to Associate Professor Azizur Rahman in the School of Computing & Mathematics who was elected as secretary to the Australia New Zealand Regional Science Association International (ANZRSAI). ANZRSAI is one of the highly esteemed organisations globally concerned with all aspects of regional analysis and development. Associate Professor Rahman was also awarded the “ANZRSAI 2023 Service Award” for outstanding services to society.
In addition, Associate Professor Azizur Rahman was 2023 Charles Sturt Excellence Award recipient for his research work that has driven regional outcomes with global impacts.
