Associate Dean Research, Professor Zahid Islam is organizing a panel discussion featuring some of our SUPER-STAR researchers as the panelists (Profs. Jane Quinn, Mark Morrison, Suzanne McLaren, Patrick Walsh, Russell Roberts, Mano Paul, and Lihong Zheng) to benefit our colleagues in FOBJBS by hearing the insights from the panelists on the importance of and strategies for increasing citations.
The Online Discussion will be on Thursday 4 April at 2.30pm and conclude at 4pm.
The format of the panel discussion will be as follows.
Panel discussion (60 minutes):
• Why are citations important to academics and universities? (20 minutes)
• What steps can we take to increase our citations? (20 minutes)
• What are the benefits for academics – i.e., why should we engage in this effort? (20 minutes)
Q&A (30 minutes):
• Open questions to the panelists from the audience.
