Episode 5: In this last episode of series 1, we are joined by the incomparable Dr Arash Mahboubi | Senior Lecturer for the School of Computing, Mathematics and Engineering. Arash’s work is also part of the award winning Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Futures Institute at CSU. In episode 5 of Ergo Cogito, Arash reflects on his journey from PhD thesis to developing an innovative way to protect your precious memories from ransomware attacks. He also shares with the listeners the importance of mentoring post doctoral candidates, and increasing the capabilities of future cybersecurity professionals. Arash’s passion for research stems from his deep understanding of the impact that cybersecurity has on the world today, and his goal is to ensure that his research makes a difference for good.
