As a Diversity Champion at Charles Sturt for LGBTIQA+ I want to encourage you to help celebrate Pride Month.
Get ready to paint Charles Sturt Rainbow!
June marks the start of Pride Month, and we’re turning up the volume on our support for LGBTQIA+ students and staff with the inaugural Colour Our World Competition! Here’s the scoop: whether you’re a student or staff member, it’s your time to shine by dressing up or decking out your study or office space in Pride colours. Let’s show the world we’re proud Allies!
The rules? Keep it simple: snap a pic and send it to ally@csu.edu.au by June 15th, along with a sentence about your inspiration. Our Ally co-convenors will sift through the submissions and announce the winners at our June Ally Network Meeting!
And oh, did we mention the prizes? Brace yourselves! We’re awarding three winners: one lucky student and one staff member will each nab a $50 gift voucher, while the grand prize winner judged across both categories will walk away with the coveted Lego Everyone is Awesome Pride kit!
