As the year comes to an end, I’d like to wish all of you the very best for the holiday season and the coming new year. I hope that you stay safe and well and enjoy the time with your families and friends.
Some of you may already be on leave, for the rest of us, I would encourage you to book leave and take some time off over the next few weeks. It is very important to recharge our batteries and to take time away from our work. I encourage each of you to take the time to rest, recharge, and reflect on your accomplishments. It’s essential to recognize the hard work and achievements of the past year, both individually and collectively. Your dedication has not gone unnoticed, and I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together. I look forward to highlighting your future successes in future newsletters and at face-to-face faculty catch ups throughout 2024.
Our faculty has continued to thrive, thanks to the collective efforts of each of you. I have been impressed by people willingness to adapt to new teaching methods, and by the outstanding research that people are undertaking. I would like to thank everybody for their positive support for our students in supporting them in their academic endeavors.
Thank you once again for your outstanding contributions to the Faculty of Business, Justice, and Behavioral Sciences. I am confident that 2024 will bring even more success and opportunity for us all and it is my privilege to serve as your Executive Dean.
Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a well-deserved break.
