The LMS transition team in DLT and DIT is currently in the planning phase of the Brightspace implementation project, focusing on delivering the new learning management system in the best possible way. The team is working diligently on developing the migration process, identifying stakeholder needs, and design principles. Our reference groups, including Heads of School, have started work on the design of the new LMS environment. We are pleased to have received numerous recommendations to join our Grade Review and Finalization, as well as our Student Communications Working Group and appreciate the positive response towards our project.
The implementation timeline for the project is now available on the project webpage. In August 2023, early adopters will receive access and training and requests for feedback on test sites. Staff who are interested to join the early adopter programme can sign up here. Site migration and training have been scheduled for September to December. Go-Live stage 1 will commence on February 26, 2024, followed by Go-Live stage 2 on July 28.
