On Tuesday 4th April, Associate Professor Nick O’Brien presented the Acting Commissioner of the AFP, Ian McCartney, a letter of credit signed by former Course Director Mr. Brian Daly.
AFP members who complete the ‘Investigations Management Solution’ program of study can now receive 8 points of credit into the Bachelor of Policing or Bachelor of Policing (Investigations).
The “Investigations Management Solution” program covers the procedures and techniques involved with managing investigative activities, particularly having regard to the relevant legal, evidential and organisational frameworks including organisational objectives.
It introduces legal responsibilities of managers, relationships with key stakeholders, case management models, cost effectiveness and resource allocation.
