Basic and Key Skills Builder (BKSB) is an online tool that can be used in subjects and courses to identify, diagnose, and improve literacy and numeracy skills. Students use it independently, no marking is required, and reports can be generated quickly and easily. Read on to find out how this tool can be used to support your students and improve compliance with the ELLaN Policy and the ALaN GLO.

With 201860 just around the corner, this post gives you an update on the i2 theme saga, information on internationally recognised fellowships, Quasars (are we in the right Faculty?) and a material sharing site to watch out for. Oh, and the 2019 L&T Symposium has been locked in!
Remember our working groups at the Learning and Teaching Symposium on contract cheating? That work has progressed, and we now have a range of activities / resources that can be used to begin conversations about cheating at University.
These resources and strategies from the BJBS ALLaN Faculty Liaison can support the development of your students’ language, literacy, and numeracy skills and save you time and effort.
