On 24 June 2025, a new book titled Sexual Assault Trials: Challenges and Innovations (Lexis Nexis) will be launched, featuring a chapter co-authored by Professor Mark Nolan and Professor Jane Goodman-Delahunty (formerly of CSU), titled The Quality of Autobiographical Memories of Sexual Assault (pp. 45–66).
The launch event will take place at 5:00 PM (Melbourne time) in the Jury Pool Room at the County Court of Victoria. Guest speakers include Chief Judge Amanda Chambers (recently appointed), Deputy Chief Judge Meryl Sexton, Felicity Hampel (Chair of the Post Sentence Authority and former County Court Judge), and Jacqui and Greg Byrne.
About Professor Mark Nolan
Professor Mark Nolan, from the Centre of Law and Justice, is an interdisciplinary legal scholar with expertise in law and social psychology. He holds qualifications in law, a doctorate in social psychology, and a Master of Asia Pacific Studies with a focus on Thai language. His teaching and research span criminal law and procedure, law and psychology, military discipline law, human rights, and social justice. He has held several academic leadership roles at CSU and ANU, including HDR Director, Associate Dean (Education), and Director of Postgraduate Programs.
