Congratulations to Prof. Patrick Walsh for Publishing an Edited Book

New Edited Volume (Book) on Health Security Intelligence by Professor Patrick Walsh

Congratulations to Professor Patrick Walsh on publishing the new edited volume titled Health Security Intelligence: Managing Emerging Threads and Risks in a Post COVID World published by Routledge UK. The book explores the role of national security and intelligence agencies in managing the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia and its close allies (the UK, USA, Canada, and NZ). This important work examines the challenges these agencies faced in adopting a whole-of-government approach and addresses the additional measures needed in a post-COVID world, especially given the evolving threats in biotechnology.

The book features contributions from leading experts in public health, national security, policy, and technology, including Prof. Seumas Miller from AGSPS. Published in the prestigious ‘Studies in Intelligence’ series by Routledge UK, this volume highlights the FOBJBS and CSU’s unique research capabilities in health and biosecurity. Congratulations to all involved!
