From the National Health and Medical Research Council
The Human Research Ethics Application (HREA) form has been updated to align with the revised National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research 2023 (the National Statement). Updates on licenced versions of HREA will be implemented during December 2023.
Please be aware that HREA users with unsubmitted applications may need to revise their answers in accordance with the revised guidance from the National Statement depending on whether their application will be reviewed in accordance with the 2018 or 2023 National Statement. If you are unsure about how your current application will be reviewed, please contact your research office for guidance.
