After three years of online teaching due to COVID-19, School of Business staff have recently returned to face-to-face teaching in China to over 800 Bachelor of Business students. The University has been in partnership for over twenty years with four Chinese universities
- Jilin University of Finance and Economics,
- Tianjin University of Commerce,
- Yangzhou University and
- Yunnan University of Finance and Economics.
Across two four-week teaching blocks each session, there are eight staff teaching at any one time at the four Universities. After three years of large Zoom classes, it was an enjoyable experience getting back into the Chinese classrooms and engaging with the students and local staff. One staff member observed that students are the same all across the world – “they find the 8am start challenging and like to have fun in class”.
