Research Conferences and Outputs

There have been a number of research-based conferences of late, whilst virtual these do have their benefits.

Congratulations to Professor Russell Roberts for Chairing the 3rd Australian and New Zealand Mental Health Workplace Symposium which saw a number of our Workplace Wellness Research Group projects being presented in collaboration with our Industry partners – Scott Weber CEO of Police Federation Australia and Susan McKenzie CEO of Emergency Services Foundation, Victoria. These included presentations of research findings from our COVID-19 internally funded project which investigated the mental health, wellbeing and work impacts of the pandemic on first responders and frontline workers. Plus, interims findings on the evaluation of the Leading for Better Mental Health Program (pilot) for 14 emergency service agencies across Victoria.

Some staff, including Dr Alain Neher presented at the British Academy of Management annual conference. Some of the proceedings are available for those interested (click here).

I apologise in advance as I know I will have missed mentioning a number of outputs and grants awarded, but if you wish for these to be mentioned in the next edition please email me (sjenkins@csu.edu.au)

Don’t also forget you can subscribe to Australian Government grant notifications if interested and relevant 🙂
