Did you know ‘Thriving in higher education’s new normal’ is the theme for our 5th BJBS Learning and Teaching Symposium on 2-3 September 2021. The symposium will provide opportunities to build on your own learning and teaching expertise, showcase the learning and teaching excellence of colleagues, hear from some excellent keynote speakers as well as some of our students. We have an excellent range of keynotes that will join us straight up on Day 1 for a panel discussion. We have a range of speakers – an international, a domestic, an internal speaker, and an entrepreneur. They are keen to share their insights. Following the panel session, there will be a range of showcases you can elect to be tune in and listen to.
For Day 2 we will kick off the morning with a range of practical workshops. We are encouraging everyone to express their interest in confirming which of these they plan on attending. Please do this here if you have not already done so. Knowing numbers will help your peers structure their sessions.
We will send through calendar updates shortly so you have all the sessions details with respective links. You can also download the program to your calendar yourself. To do this you can click on the “add to calendar” option on the program tab – select “download ICS” and the calendar will appear in your outlook calendar. You can rename the calendar if you wish i.e., L&T Symposium. You can also elect (via a right-click) to “overlay” this new calendar to your existing calendar within outlook (so it is a merged calendar view). Alternatively, you can select a desired single session entry to add directly to your Outlook calendar (lots of choices – but we just don’t want you to miss out).
