BJBS 2021 L&T Symposium – 16 sleeps to go… time to express your interest

workshop

With only 16 sleeps until the big event, we are excited to offer an awesome lineup of keynote speakers, presentations, and workshops. We might be in lockdown but that won’t hold us back in coming together virtually.

The symposium hub is taking shape, with the student panel now locked in and zoom links available. A big shout of thanks goes to Lachlan Kalache for his work in developing this space. The hands-on’ elective workshops (60 mins each) will be presented on Friday 3 September. These will provide you with an opportunity to acquire new or enhanced L&T skills and/or resources from your colleagues.

All workshops are being offered twice, giving you a choice of 7 workshops in both the 9 am and 10 am time slots. They are scheduled for the morning of Day 2 and comprise:

A. Supporting International and First Nation Students

B. Promoting interaction and engagement with students

C. Workplace learning; when it really counts

D. Disseminating scholarly activity via non-traditional avenues

E. How to teach students how to research

F. Hacks to make L&T easier

G. Building teacher and student resilience in the post-Covid age

All the details about each workshop, including an overview and the Zoom links, are available at the workshop tab so please check them out at the symposium hub. To help with planning it would be great if you could please indicate which workshops you would like to attend via this response form

We’re looking forward to seeing you online on the 2nd and 3rd of September.
