And it’s not too late to register! After a few years of hiatus, the University-wide learning and teaching conference is back and available online on 18 – 20 November 2020. For the first time, it will be jointly delivered by the Division of Learning and Teaching and the Division of Student Services.

Charles Sturt EdX provides an excellent opportunity to engage in scholarly activity that will positively impact the learning and teaching experience of our students. There are over 50 elective sessions to choose from, as well as several highly relevant keynote (featuring Dr. Michelle McQuaid and Professor Mick Healey) and expert panel sessions.

The Conference Hub provides all the details you need to know, including a detailed program with Zoom room links.

…followed by an introduction to scholarly activity

Straight after Charles Sturt EdX is an opportunity to get assistance for setting a scholarship objective for 2021. TEQSA requires each institution to provide evidence of scholarly activity which is ‘concerned with gaining new or improved understanding, appreciation and insights into a field of knowledge, and engaging with and keeping up to date with advances in the field. Three repeat sessions are being run in the week beginning 23 November. The BJBS designated session is at 12pm on Tuesday, November (watch for calendar invite or check the DLT PD newsletter) but feel free to attend one of the other sessions if that suits better. For further information head to the DLT pages on scholarly activity which features the following 3-minute video on how to set a scholarship objective.
