The Salis Institute is accepting registrations for two new research training opportunities.

Systematically review the literature (webinar, Mon 26 August 2019) – free of charge.
Master the essentials of meta-analysis (webinar series, Mon 16 – Thu 19 Sep 2019) – $99.00 AUD.

Systematically review the literature
This free webinar by Prof. Amanda Salis is designed to help registrants to bring systematic searching techniques to their literature reviews, and thereby avoid the common mistake of forming or presenting a biased view of extant literature.

It is open to researchers from any field who are interested in undertaking (or supervising the conduct of) a systematic literature review. This includes Honours, Masters and PhD students.

Master the essentials of meta-analysis
In this hands-on, practical series of 4 live webinars, Prof. Amanda Salis and Zübe Salis will walk registrants through a step-by-step process designed to help them run their own meta-analyses (including meta-regressions) using Stata software. Registrants will receive a one-month fully-functional license for Stata software to enable them to undertake meta-analyses during and after the webinar series.

The webinar series is for any researcher from any institution who wishes to conduct (or supervise the conduct of) meta-analyses (with or without meta-regression) to advance their research. This includes honours students, higher degree research students (e.g. Masters and PhD students), postdoctoral fellows and senior researchers.

By the end of the 4 webinars and associated meta-analytical tasks, registrants are envisaged to be confident that they can undertake, interpret and report results from meta-analyses.
