It is with great pleasure to announce Dr Judith Gullifer to the position of Sub-Dean (Partners & Quality) for the Faculty of Business Justice & Behavioural Sciences.
Jude will commence in the position of Sub-Dean (Partners & Quality) as of 4 February 2019 and be based from the CSU Study Centre office – Melbourne site.
The Sub Dean (Partners and Quality) will provide strategic leadership in enhancing and growing the Faculty’s collaboration with domestic and international partners. The position will play a key role in ensuring all academic programs offered to International students, whether onshore, or offshore, provide best practice learning and teaching experiences for students, and comply with all internal CSU policy, as well as all external standards, such as the TEQSA Higher Education Standards Framework, AQF, ESOS legislation, and relevant course accreditation and approval requirements. The Sub Dean (Partners and Quality) will provide advice to the Executive Dean about the development of new pathway and partnership programs, both domestic and international. Includes liaison with key stakeholders, such as Academic Directors of partner organisations, Heads of School and Course Directors to establish communities of practice appropriate to each partnership arrangement, and may be required to chair academic management, or other committees, as relevant under the partnership arrangement with CSU.
Although Dr Gullifer’s position will be responsible for providing academic leadership for all BJBS partnerships, a considerable focus of the role is the oversight of the relationship between CSU and Study Group Australia’s CSU Study Centres. In addition the position has a compliance oversight of the Cambodian and China Partnerships to ensure HES standards are maintained. A key component of the role is to assist partner organisations establish a culture of academic integrity amongst staff and students.
